This small village has managed to preserve its traditions and customs without forgetting that we are in the 21st century. Its origins date back to the first settlers that set foot in the area. The entire countryside surrounding the town of Facinas is a maze of caves and prehistoric monuments left behind by the different settlements that lived here throughout history. Centuries later, the Romans took advantage of its unique location, and the richness of its sea and land.Over the years, Facinas was the target of European and North African invasions. The inhabitants of Facinas managed to fit all these different cultures into their own, picking out only the best and throwing aside the worst of each civilization.
