But thanks to its narrow cobbled streets, tapas bars and dozens of little pavement cafés around the town's main squares it has rapidly become a firm tourist destination for both foreigners and Spaniards alike.
The town has a great atmosphere, especially during the summer months when there are festivals every single night. Many people also come from nearby towns to visit the Friday market held right by the beach.
