Environment
Most of the beaches in Caños are nice and smooth, but at the far end of Los Caños the environment gets slightly rougher, with cliffs and large rocks on the seashore. This is where the authentic "Caños" can be found, and are basically small falls of fresh water cascading from the cliffs.Los Caños is located within the Acantilado Nature Park. This park looks out onto the Atlantic coast, and over the years its 3,130 hectares have been shaped by strong easterly winds. The various pine forests in the park practically reach the coast, and are punctuated by impressive cliffs. Some of these cliffs are over hundred metres in height.
