Alcalá de los Gazules is on the so-called Ruta del Toro, which means Route of the Bull in English.

In this area there are various springs with water of medicinal value.

The town lies in the heart of the vast Nature Park of Los Alcornocales, considered a paradise for nature lovers. However, this park is not just for walking and contemplating the scenery, as it is very popular among hunters of big and small game.

As well as kilometres of stunning greenery, fresh air and silence (very much appreciated nowadays!), one can also buy local crafts in the small shops in town.
